Of late, Catholic Church has been picked out as a selective soft target for operating a deliberate smear campaign by dubious, infamous and characterless people whose modus operandi is to blow up any and all trifles in an attempt to tarnish the reputation and credibility achieved through many centuries of toil and dedication. Catholic Church endured centuries of reckless persecution by barbarous and ignorant people. This included rivalry, invasions, grab of territories including wealth, wars and battles as also the ignominious test of its scriptural patience besides an overdose of human pestilence. Today the same diabolic elements are rearing their head to torment from outside by way of threats and ridiculous interference.
The entire world accepts the supremacy of the supreme spirit God Almighty as being the only existing truth. Jesus Christ being the redeemer of mankind had stated “I am the way, the truth and the life” [John 14:6] in full glare of a mob. But the same mob at a later stage dared crucify Him for His utterances and for stating the truth. People who possess no logic or reason to vouch for their own character and the very people who are least worthy of speaking on behalf of or even against God Almighty are this day standing up to react or overact to religious expressions and religious institutions that are the guiding feature for millions of Catholics all over the world. And despite being numerically and logically beyond the periphery of being called a spiritual forum, these elements are acting extremism with their verbal blasts and outbursts.
Describing a spiritual centre of millions of Catholics all over the world as being associated with or dominating in “dysfunction, disconnection, elitism or narcissism” is no doubt the height of narrow-minded interference and foolishly flouting authority and centre of a religious body with wide ranging acceptance. This attitude may even be termed as an extremist bend of mind with utter disregard for human ideologies whereby mean minded aspersions are being dastardly flung on people and faithful alike as also an exhaustive method of easing of frustration in a deliberate attempt to smear the spiritual seat of Catholics in matters of controversy, the rectification of which vests with Catholic Church only.
Incidentally these hoodlums who found it expedient to penetrate deep in to the sanctum sanctorum of a religious institution never thought it worthwhile to introspect in to the meanness of their own lives. Nor have they deemed it proper to acknowledge the fact that their vain attempt to sully the God-ordained spiritual edifice was nowhere in the focus of their biased reckoning merely a couple of years earlier. These half-witted rogues failed to diagnose that the Catholic Church was a forum of worship and spirituality instituted by God Himself and no area for frivolous humans to trample upon. Catholic Church was instituted in compliance with the wishes of the Redeemer of the universe Himself under the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit.
Even conceding a while that the vilification campaign let loose by these rogues suggest the existence of a genuine grouse on the plea of some irregularities here or there, which too does not have the sanction of spirituality or divinity, the Church does not and cannot bend at the instance of a bunch of rude and crude jokers attempting to pull down its spirituality on trumped up reasons.
These crude elements are shrieking in a manner that would induce the public to conclude that their own character has been shorn to shreds. Church has full sympathy at their unblemished character having been blemished beyond repairs but would admonish them to behave for now lest they stand to be judged by God Himself.
They even need to know that their folly of targeting Catholic Church is fraught with eternal consequences and the Church would not go beyond this advice. But nowhere would it be becoming of them to seek remedy in a legal tangle or through internet shrieks. The Church has authority and intelligence to meet their ire through appropriate measures. For now these hooligans need keep in mind that the soul and spirituality is no area for uncalled for tantrums or for hooliganism.
At the outset it needs to be emphatically stated with utmost accuracy that a person is known by his or her character. But since Catholic Church never indulge in mudslinging save for admonishing its faithful or cautioning the world from playing with human lives and their spirituality, the matter was never refuted by people of worth within the Catholic fold. This fact added impetus to horrendous campaigners to blow up and twist facts to the extent of making the very plague of extremism appear like a slight in the face of a sulking child.
The only human gauge to measure one’s character either from close quarters or from far is by analysing the internal disposition of a person which can best be done by reading in to a people’s speech or writing. In the present context the attack on Catholic faith, by and large was apparently an outcome of frustration by unscrupulous elements who could not tolerate the growing clout of Catholic Church and its pronouncements and adherence, in both letter and spirit on crucial issues related to pro-life. Despite tremendous pressure by unscrupulous people, Catholic Church has always been adamant and relentless in its endeavour to follow the concept of piety and spirituality.
For sometime now, a state of intolerance has been prevailing in the outside world which has had problems having to cope with the menace of increased divorce cases, extra-constitutional demand by gays, atheists and for upping the ante on the issue of abortion etc.
With the graph of morality having dipped to a state of nadir and people becoming restless to wriggle out of their own predicaments in order to save face and cooked up prestige or status, the only way to make do with was to create chaos by flinging aspersions on religious people whose sole look out was to guide the Church on forward lines.
To a great extent this reveals lack of godliness among common people what to speak of respect for Divinity and God. The attitude of these hoodlums went to the extent of discarding all norms of respect for the elite of a religious institution, which speaks volumes for the sort of life they lead and the company the follow. It would be worth reflecting if such arrogant hoodlums expect to even crawl up to Almighty for grace to obtain even a fraction of second out of eternity to crave pardon for their wild crimes?
World has progressed this far but these worthless human beings have become gutsy enough to upset the very institution constituted to kindle morale of “giving to God what belongs to God” conceived by God Almighty Himself. Does not this attitude overlook the instances of rampant extremist cult operating from right under their very nose to the detriment of not only children falling prey to their spray of bullets, but even depleting the figures of human population? Have these unscrupulous elements bypassed the hijacking of world and its feeble beings including little children who are held at gunpoint to live a life of fear and panic? Where exactly are they striving to get off with and acting omnipotent by slamming the Catholic Church, the very spiritual seat of omnipotence?
Going by the latest figures pertaining to Catholic population around the globe there is reason for the entire fold of Catholic clergy, faithful and laity to feel complacent at the swelling numbers, having crossed past the billionth mark, that is more or less equalling or exceeding the figures of many other late entrants in to the arena of spirituality, worship and adoration. The hint here is solely about Catholic population for the moment without precluding the entire fold of Christianity which surpasses all guesses because today Catholics viz. the elite of the followers of Jesus Christ are under fire from none other than the closest agents of the demon called antichrist.
Undoubtedly, Catholics have reason to collectively feel proud of being eligible to aspire for a separate continent on the lone planet harbouring Almighty’s creation on their own. However, since the figure is only a collective one, Catholics would be better housed in separate continents, nations, states and areas of planet Earth but with a rider to the outside world that the Holy Father the Pope and the Vatican, being the highest seat of Catholic Spirituality is no area for wagging tongues to penetrate. Further, there is also a word of caution to adventurous elements prowling in and around the citadel of religion and worship that law had better keep its unholy edicts off its periphery.
Incidentally, none of the other religions or their mode of worship deserve special mention here since Catholic Faith alone maintains the elite of the flock who rightly earned the distinction as followers of the one only Savior and Redeemer Our Lord Jesus Christ whereas other religious groups only represent a namesake religion or institution. As a corollary to this pronouncement one might even deem it worth asserting that more than a finite solution to the dilemma the Catholic World is facing as of today would be to stand up and say to the hesitating world that Catholics are one when it comes to standing by the Redeemer and Lord of heaven and earth. In the same breath it must also be emphatically affirmed that Catholic community is unwavering in its staunchest ever support to the Holy Father the Pope, the Cardinals, Bishops, Priests, Laity and the faithful because it is the exclusive right of Catholics to hold aloft the edifice of Jesus Christ Himself.
Be assured all ye Catholics that if God ever chose to gather around people of noble blood for filling the void of eternity, He would without hesitation anoint Catholics first for the altar of divine bliss. No doubt, Catholics have been infused with the noble blood in the first place because they alone have the eternal word made flesh and it is they and their holy places which bear the brunt of or come under fire of the enemy’s wrath for wrongs done by other religious fold. Whatever the world might say, utter, pronounce, be it for or against the edifice of Catholic Institution, the word of God will stand which says “Blessed are they who hear the word of God and keep it”. In order to belong to the fold of Jesus Christ one must have the divine blood of eternity infused in to him which Catholics alone can claim to be in possession of.
Every individual, as a human being has been created to fulfill the call by God to live an exemplary life for attaining eternal salvation under a free will freely bestowed upon each by God. Accordingly, everyone is a separate entity with a distinct identity. The Almighty has already paid man his wage namely a life and a free will. What remains to be achieved is the reward which shall be awarded by God Himself to people who shall find favour in His sight. To this end, God became man in the person of Jesus Christ so that those who believed in Him would attain everlasting life. It is to fulfil this wish of the Redeemer that man has paved a path to attaining salvation. It is in compliance to His wishes that Catholic Church has carried forward the command by Jesus Christ wherein He said “Tu es Petrus et super hanc petram ædificabo ecclesiam meam et portæ inferi non prævalebunt adversus eam. Et tibi dabo claves regni cælorum”.
Any adverse attitude on the part of any individual in fulfillment of His wishes or any move to suppress, slam, demean, destabilize, degrade, disgrace or humiliate the followers of Jesus Christ would stand to be judged by God Himself. Catholic dogma would not go beyond this but would leave the rest to God.
A spade should not or cannot and ought not be differently spelt or pronounced than what it actually signifies or what its utility symbolizes. Resultantly, people whose pronouncements or dealings do not match the category to which they intend representing their own targets to be classified as, need take a note of caution and heed sanity and reason lest their utterances should backfire sending their illusions in to a universal fiasco!
Incidentally, human Lilliputans who tend to act almighty time and again and dare cross the utterances or activities of religious heads or their followers fail to accede that Catholic faith represents or acts on behalf of and in the name of the very redeemer Himself, who carried the cross to the altar of Calvary. It is in this context that one needs to send a sharp and subtle message to these odd elements which ought to slice the pride of these unholy elements who would even dare to slap the very redeemer and mockingly say “Prophesy unto us, Oh Christ, who is he that struck thee?[Mathew 26:68]”
Many dastardly elements whose temperaments do not support heavenly virtues, especially the virtue of humility are blaring out nuisance to the extent of compiling for themselves a diabolic profile of arrogance in a bid to exert pressure on God-fearing human beings so that they halt their religious fervour. Internet has become a safe vent for their intermittent blurts. However, for now -

Shannon Barber with her venomous spill on the topic of Catholic Faith and Vatican would rather be termed a misfit in a world of God and spirituality. Catholics need not unduly be perturbed at such stage managed pronouncements or unbridled manoeuvring by random and absent minded ignoramus, who due to deteriorating mind, reason and logic lose their presence of mind to the extent of blurting whatever may be beyond their own comprehension. It may be prudent to add here that the ethos and dogma laid out for the followers of Catholic religion have not been and will never be amended to accommodate any such bickering by outsiders not designated to point fingers at or to advance their own judgements. This in effect may be termed as brutal massacre of people’s sentiments, but the manner in which these elements intent washing their own linen in public and that too at the cost of the one and only true edifice of Catholic faith that was graciously handed down by the Savior and Redeemer Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, could bring the world down on such unruly and scandalous elements. Did not Jesus Christ Himself admonish wherein He said: “But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a milestone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea [Mathew 18:6]”
At the outset it must be stated with utmost emphasis that a person is known by his or her character. Catholic Church alone has the divine nod and these rogues attempting to ransack the edifice of faith would need to be told in no uncertain terms that their activities are being watched. Individuals and personalities occupying the planet Earth have only one single attribute to claim as their possession namely their own sins. And no form of Godliness would ever tolerate sin as a divine attribute. Such aspersions, coming as they do at a time when the Church is already on its way to establishing its norms and precepts to match the standards and leaning to which the world has presently got embroiled in, need primarily to be bridled first by respective countries and their law rather than allowing such elements to point fingers at others, read Catholic Faith. Catholic Church has its own established norms and edicts that are capable enough to handle, terminate or exterminate its faithful if found acting beyond affordable lengths of culpability. However, for no reason whatsoever should it be the business of sick and voluptuous minds gracing the pages of internet to denigrate an ecclesiastic institution of this size merely to upgrade a self or to elevate one’s own value for gaining cheap popularity and individual approval. Such wanton activities can only invite wrath as is being sought by protesters in today’s Bangladesh.
Every form of belief or worship with a closely knit following has a specific identity of its own. Catholic religion, unlike hundreds of other faiths that do not meet standards by way of logic or divine acceptance but are doing the round as of today, is poles apart in any discipline or spirituality contrary to what is being projected by look-alike faiths. Catholic Religion did not germinate or come in to existence out of compulsion or has it evolved through circumstances of frustration, enchantment or enlightenment by people, self aggrandisement or through secession or break-away under protest due to differences on specific issues. Moreover, Catholic religion does not rely on abstract beliefs, myths or adventurous fairy tales for gaining cheap acceptance. It is one only religion and the only faith which achieved a direct nod and authorisation in person and spirit from the Savior and Redeemer of Mankind namely Jesus Christ Himself, who being God was born of the Virgin Mary with the power of the Holy Spirit and became man for redeeming mankind from the everlasting curse of sin, thus earning on our behalf the sublime grace of entry in to everlasting life after death.
Catholic Church has been immensely blessed by Almighty with heavenly graces showered in abundance ever since it was instituted under the guardianship of the one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ namely St. Peter whom Jesus Himself picked to lead. Since then a vast chain of Popes, being successors to St. Peter have been managing the overall affairs of Catholic Church. Holy Father the Pope with the assistance of a conclave of cardinals, bishops, priests and laity administers the office of securing spiritual hope to the entire Catholic World from the Vatican City of independent Rome.
Catholics all the world over commit to follow the guardianship of the Holy Father who for the lowly Catholics represents the Redeemer Himself on the Earth. And the populace are continually blessed by the Pope in the name of the Cross, which blessing reaches the least of all Catholics at all four corners of the world. This, in essence, is the great mystery which the Catholics behold, that the hands of the Holy Father carries the solace of Jesus Christ and Savior Himself to every family across oceans and continents to breath in to them the peace of Christ.
What augments the celestial semblance and convergence of Catholics all over the world is the oneness with which they unite to follow the ecclesiastic precepts adduced by the Vatican. Catholic Church draws inspiration from the hordes of pious and devoted faithful besides holy and saintly men and women who have left for their heavenly abode leaving a trail of effective and virtuous path to salvation. The Church also upholds numerous clergy and saintly men and women in the form of celibate priests and nuns who, having sacrificed a marital life devote entirely to the service of humanity. With hordes of pious and devoted faithful besides hordes of saints who have sacrificed everything to glorify the omnipotence of God are only visible or invisible examples of divine mystique.
Devout and dedicated faithful from Catholic Church is proud to have experienced several apparitions of divine acknowledgement among which numbers the ones narrated in the link stand prominent. To cut a long story short, Catholic Church has prominently come out as the only true and religions institution acknowledged as the “Way, Truth and the Life [John 14:6]” as averred by Jesus Christ Himself.
In many ways Catholic Church is uniquely distinct from all other so called religious institutions or identities established for the spiritual welfare of mankind. In essence, it is that unique faith which upholds not just identity but also imparts a concept of spirituality as well which has been personified with the life and death of the redeemer Himself. The same redeemer, who having appointed His 12 apostles with a large multitude of following, has today made a foray in to the hearts and minds of over one billion devout Catholics all over the world. Catholic religion unites the faithful consisting of both clergy and laymen under the guardianship of the Vatican which is presided over by the Holy Father assisted by a conclave of Cardinals, Bishops, Priests and laymen, who commands respect and reverence by all the faithful across the world.
Holy Father the Pope is the guiding spirit behind the wholesome spirituality for the entire Catholic world. Vatican as such is the sanctum sanctorum of spirituality which flows in to the hearts and minds of both the Catholic Clergy and the faithful. However, Vatican is no political forum, nor is it a platform for alien state or administration to haphazardly drag its name, title or spiritualism in to any area of controversy for which the Catholic Church is fully capable of dealing with in the optimum manner possible. This follows that all or any issues related to Catholic faith which can generate controversy at the hands of pagans, heretics, infidels or unworthy Christians ought not be tossed on to streets for subjecting it to vilification campaign by malignant elements. Such activities are bound to have far reaching repercussions not only for the perpetrators of such acts but for the world as well.
It is therefore, reiterated for the knowledge of all concerned, people and nations that the Church and the Vatican are fully capable of resolving all issues to the satisfaction of all. Tossing such matters unscrupulously and haphazardly by unruly elements for achieving narrow objectives is bound to demean the sanctity of Church and sully the image of the institution, the faithful, all nations and the world at large, which situation can sooner or later can invite divine wrath.
Accordingly, as already stated the Vatican is fully empowered as a distinct and separate entity to guide the Catholic world of clergy and laymen in matters which have direct bearing on the dogma and spirituality followed by the Church and the faithful. Moreover, where deemed necessary the faithful are diligently admonished and in instances of deviation necessary steps taken to rectify such areas, as per the norms laid down by the Church. It is therefore, the exclusive prerogative of the Vatican alone – it is hereby repeated – it is the exclusive prerogative of the Vatican alone to advice faithful appropriately on matters relating to fulfilment of duties and responsibilities of people and clergy and for upholding the name, prestige and spirituality of the Catholic world.
The Roman Catholic Church at the instance of the Holy Father and the Vatican has always kept away from gossip mongers in cases relating to Catholic Church and its faithful. It is therefore, the bounden duty of the faithful as well and in the interest of this one unique and only religious institution to bear the semblance of God's love and abide by the precept of Jesus Christ Himself for carrying on the work entrusted by the Savior Himself so as to suppress all rumblings inside or outside the Church. It is fervently prayed that God may protect this one only institution, the only and unique remnant of His Own redemption which faith has survived many an onslaught at the hands of heretics, infidels and unworthy Christians.
For the last one decade or so, there has been a constant build up of a campaign to tarnish the image and spirituality of Catholic faith, to denigrate its lofty ideals and to degrade its sanctity. As a matter of fact, the thrust from these heretics became evident after the recent changes in administration in the US and other European countries as a result of which the renegades got a rare opportunity to spill venom in their intent to damage Catholic faith, which has its highest authority in the person of the Holy Father the Pope and the Vatican.
Needless to say Vatican has flourished on account of divine shower of graces mostly on account of its sway over Catholics spread in most countries throughout the world. It may not be out of place to state that no other religion has dominated the world affairs on matters of spirituality and has become so predominant and prominent not only amongst its own faithful spread out all over the world but even the other sections of Christian believers. Naturally, there is misgiving among other Christian institutions which are essentially a break-away group separated from its original faith namely Catholic Church under protest on one excuse or the other because of their narrow and limited capability to deliver on matters of spirituality.
No wonder these protesting groups of Christians have an inner jealousy at the sight of Catholic faith under the Vatican flourishing whereas they are destined to remain as underlings. Catholic Church maintains direct control of its faithful with full authority vested in Rome under the guardianship of the Holy Father the Pope assisted by a conclave of cardinals, bishops, priests and laity.
